Sephora Play January 2017

This months Sephora Play theme was Beauty, Set, Go. I have to admit that this was by far my least favorite box thus far. I really am not excited about anything in this box at all. Dr Jart+ Dermask Intra Jet Firming Solution Review

You can purchase this mask at Sephora for $9. 

This is a body heat thermosensitive cellulose gel mask that is designed to enhance elasticity and firm skin. 

The thermosensitive gel is activated by body heat to release the ingredients infused within the gel mask. 

It is formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. 

This quickly became my new favorite sheet mask. It had no scent and was a two piece gel mask. It fit perfectly and was not drippy at all. It felt very refreshing on the face while it was on. I found it very calming, it got rid of all redness on my face, very hydrating and plumping and my fine lines were noticeably diminished. 

Would I purchase? Yes!

Hask Keratin Protein Smoothing Deep Conditioner Review

I received this awhile back in a beauty box and was really excited for it. This past fall I decided to do unicorn hair so I was dying my hair quiet a bit and it was starting to feel a little bit on the dry side. 

You can purchase this at Target for $1.99 for a 1.75 oz packet. 

This deep conditioner claims to be restorative, and moisturizing leaving all hair types smooth, shiny and frizz free. It also claims to repair damage, reduce breakage and help reduce static and drying time. It is also good for color treated hair. It is free of sulfates, phthalates, gluten, alcohol, and artificial colors. 

To use this conditioner, apply to clean, wet hair. Massage into hair and leave on for 10 minuets. Rinse well and style as usual. 

This conditioner was AMAZING! It lived up to all its claims, especially leaving hair frizz free. There was no noticeable scent and it was very creamy. It made my hair look incredible without weighing it down. 

Would I repurchase? Yes, its already on my next shopping list

Lancôme Rénergie Lift Review

I recently received 7 of these little packets in the mail from Lancôme to try out for a week. You can purchase the full size of this product for $97- $117 at Ulta. So it is a little pricey. 

This cream is designed to lift, firm and tighten your whole face while revitalizing the appearance of your face. Your skin should feel hydrated, look denser, smoother and more beautiful. 

It is good for all skin types and is dermatologist- tested. It is also non- comedogenic and non-acnegenic.

This cream has a really strong perfumey scent that lasted quiet awhile. It is a very creamy, silky texture which was really nice. It does take a little bit to absorb so I found using it at bedtime was what worked for me. My face was very soft and hydrated and I found my makeup sat on my skin much better. 

Would I purchase? No but just because of the price. 

Sephora Orchid Face Mask Review

You can purchase this mask at Sephora for $6.

This mask claims to moisturize and even skin tone while reducing the appearance of wrinkles and other signs of aging.  It is meant to be left of for 15 min with no need to rinse off the excess essence. 

This mask has a soft floral scent which was really nice. It does have a pink film backing that you peel off before applying the mask. It fit my face perfectly with no drippiness. My face felt very hydrated and my fine lines were not as noticeable. 

Would I purchase? Yes

Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Beautiful Day Cream Review

You can purchase this day cream at Target for $14.99. 

This day cream claims to be perfect for sensitive skin, using rose stem cells to provide hydration and deep cellular support for a naturally flawless complexion. 

It is dermatologist tested and can be applied daily to a clean face and neck. 

This is a very thin, lightweight day cream. It smells just like roses and the scent did last awhile. It absorbed very quickly and makeup sat on it nicely. 

Would I purchase? Yes

The Balm Mad Lash Mascara Review

You can purchase the full size of this mascara at Kohls for $18.00. 

This mascara is designed to create volume and high- definition lashes. It has a rich black finish and claims to be water proof and smudge proof as well as it is free of talc and parabens. It is also cruelty- free. 

This mascara gave my lashes amazing length with no smudging or flaking. I did find it a little clumpy but I was able to work the clumps out and it turned out nicely.

Would I purchase? Yes

GlamGlow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment Review

You can purchase the full size of this product for $69 at Sephora. 

This mask is designed to deliver instant, extreme moisture. It is good for normal, oily, combination and dry skin. It claims to be a solution to dryness, dullness and uneven texture. 

The dewdration locks in moisture for a dewy, youthful look. HydraPack leaves skin silky, soft and supple feeling. GreenEnergy smooths and energizes the skin. 

It is free of parabens, sulfates and phthalates. 

To use, apply an even layer to clean skin. Leave on for 10-20 minuets and than wipe off or just massage it into your skin. Can be used 2-3 times a week. You could also apply a thin layer before bed and let it soak in overnight with no need to wipe off in the morning. 

This mask was wonderful! It was very creamy and had a light fresh scent. It made my skin very hydrated and evened out my skin texture. 

Would I purchase? Yes

Mac Strobe Cream Review

You can purchase the full size of this moisturizer for $33 at Mac. 

This is a moisturizer that boosts the look of dull skin and luminizes your skin. 

It claims to smooth skin, improve clarity, provide radiance and be hydrating. 

It is dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested and non-acnegenic. 

This is a very creamy product that went on very evenly with no noticeable scent. I found it stayed a little tacky but I was ok with that because it really held my makeup in place all day. 

Would I purchase? Yes

W3LL People Bio Brightener Review

I received this as a sample size in a beauty box. You can purchase the full size stick of this product for $23.99 on the W3LL People website. 

This product is a skin brightener designer to diffuse skin imperfections while capturing light to create a flawless glow. It claims to create a hydrated, youthful appearance. It has a weightless finish free from all artificial chemicals and petroleum. It claims there is no greasy film and no creasing. 

To use this product, warm it up and blend onto face using fingertips or a brush. 

I thought this was a really nice skin brightener. I used it as a highlighter mostly. It is really subtle and natural looking. 

Would I purchase? Maybe

Christophe Robin Masque Régénérant Review

You can purchase this masque at Sephora for $71.00, so it is quiet pricey. 

This is a regenerating, creamy formula that strengthens and protects all hair types. It claims to penetrate completely into the hair for a long- lasting effect. The scalp is stimulated, roots are regenerated and hair is protected from breakage for a smooth, soft, radiant finish. It also enhances color and shine. 

It is free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. 

To use: after shampooing, apply a small amount to hair and work from root to tips. Let soak for just a couple minuets and than lather and rinse completely. 

I did not really have much luck with this conditioner. I found it to be really smelly and way to heavy for my hair. It did leave my hair very soft though. 

Would I purchase? No

I just received my Winter Beauty Box from Walmart a couple of days ago. I really liked my box but would have liked another makeup item instead of so many skin care products.

Almay Eye Makeup Remover Pads Review

You can purchase the full size of these eye makeup remover pads at Target for $4.99. 

These pads claim to remove all traces of makeup with no greasy residue. It contains aloe, cucumber, and green tea. They are also hypoallergenic, fragrance- free and dermatologist tested. 

I did not find these to be fragrance- free, I thought they had a very strong chemical scent. The pads were very soft and removed all my eye makeup with one swipe. It even removed all traces of waterproof mascara and waterproof liner. 

Would I purchase? Yes

Cake Beauty Heavy Cream Review

You can purchase the full size of this product for $22 at Ulta. 

This is a hydrating formula that renews and protects hands for immediate, long lasting results. It has 14 natural ingredients and 20% shea butter. It also has a french vanilla scent. 

This lotion smells good enough to eat! Just like vanilla cupcakes. My hands were moisturized for a full 24 hours. This lotion was a thick, creamy formula that was not greasy. I can't say enough good about this lotion.

Would I purchase? Yes

Glam Glow Supermud Clearing Treatment Review

You can purchase the full size of this product for $69.00 at Sephora. 

This mask is good for normal, oily and combination skin. It is a scientific advanced treatment to target, prevent and heal problematic skin. It is a great solution for acne, blemishes, pores and oiliness. 

The powerful, skin- clearing mud visibly draws out dirt and congestion and leaves skin smooth and healthy looking.

To use apply a thin layer to clean skin or you can also use as a spot treatment. Leave on for 5-20 minuets and than rinse off with water. 

This mask has a slightly minty scent and goes on grey. My face felt so clean and smooth. It did not make my face feel dried out wither like some "mud" type masks do. 

Would I purchase? Sure if it wasn't so expensive
