Juice Organics Review

You can purchase the full size of this shampoo and conditioner at Target for $9.99 each.

The shampoo and conditioner claim to help you achieve thicker, fuller hair with more body and weightless volume.

This shampoo and conditioner has a light fruity scent and it very light which is great for my fine hair. Unfortunately, my hair was very frizzy after using this. I ended up having to use a bunch of styling products to get my hair to look half way decent.

Would I purchase? No

Hask Argan Oil Conditioner Review

You can purchase this conditioner at Ulta for $2.99.

This is a deep conditioner that strengthens, hydrates, restores and smoothes dry, damaged hair.

This conditioner has a really pleasant tropical scent. It was very creamy without weighting down my hair. My hair looked and felt great and was very hydrated and soft.

Would I purchase? Yes

Carols Daughter Black Vanilla Leave-in Conditioner Review

You can purchase this at Target for $8.

This leave- in conditioner claims to replenish moisture, improve manageability and add shine with no silicones, parabens, mineral oils, artificial colors or petroleum.

It can also be used everyday without weighting down your hair.

This leave in conditioner smells so good! Its kind of like a spicy vanilla scent. It didn't work that great as a detangler but my hair did feel more hydrated. It left my hair shiny without a greasy mess or weighting my hair down.

Would I purchase? maybe

Eden BodyWorks Jojoba Monoi Deep Conditioner Review

You can purchase this deep conditioner at Target for $8.59.

This deep conditioner is good for all textures and hair types. It claims to balance the hairs moisture level for stronger, healthier, more manageable hair.
It is also paraben and sulfate free.

This conditioner has a very mentholated scent. It is color safe and made my hair very soft and easy to comb through. The only problem I had was that it really weighted down my hair.

Would I purchase? No just because of the fact it weighted down my hair.

Beautiful Nutrition Mix Fix Conditioner Booster Review

I picked this conditioner booster in the clearance section at Ulta for $0.97. I did notice it is no longer sold on Ultas website but you can find it on Amazon for $8.05.
I have never used a conditioner booster so I was very interested in trying it this summer when my hair gets dry and damaged from chlorine and just from being out in the sun.
This product claims to give you volume and weightless shine.
You mix a few drops of this conditioner booster into your normal conditioner that you wash out. You can adjust how much of the booster you want in you conditioner as needed.
This product is cruelty, paraben, BPA, phthalates, synthetic fragrance, and synthetic color free. It is also color safe.
I really wanted to like this product. Unfortunately, I really did not care for it. I did not feel that it did anything for my hair. It did not have a scent which was nice. It is a serum type consistency. It did leave my hair soft and tangle free but it also weighed my hair down and did not give it any volume. I will try it with a couple other conditioners to see if there is any difference.

Would I purchase? No

Matrix Total Results High Amplify Shampoo and Conditioner Review

I received these shampoo and conditioner samples in a box I got at Ulta awhile back. You can purchase the full sizes for $12-22 at Ulta depending on which size you purchase. It is available in 10.1 fl oz and 33.8 fl oz.
These products claim to boost fine, limp hair for lasting volume. It is also silicone free.
My Mom and I have used the original Amplify formula for years and we both love it, so I was very excited to try out the new formula.
It has a nice fresh scent that I really like. It left my hair very voluminous and soft and shiny. The conditioner does not weight my hair down either, and thats hard to find with having fine hair.
Overall, I really like this shampoo and conditioner but I think I like the original formula a little better.

Would I purchase? Yes

Hair Food Shampoo and Conditioner

Another drug store shampoo and conditioner for this review. What I do for you guys lol.
The packaging says to use together for moisture and nourishment for healthy looking hair. They are paraben, mineral oil and silicone free.
You can purchase a dual pack at Target for $15.99
I did not like this shampoo and conditioner at all. The smell is like a chemical fruity scent that my boyfriend said it smells like walking into a hair salon. This shampoo and conditioner really weighed down my hair and it made my thin hair even more tangled than it normally is. The smell was actually so strong that I ended up rewashing my hair to get rid of the scent.

Would I repurchase? No I would not. If you have thicker hair and don't mind the strong scent this might be a good shampoo and conditioner for you.

Soapbox Shampoo and Conditioner Review

Oh my, where to start... I so wanted to love this product because of all the good qualities...
I received this in a Target Beauty Box. You can purchase it at Target for $5.99 a piece.
Lets start with what each product claims.
The Shampoo has Vitamin E & K and coconut oil to cleanse, moisturize and thicken hair.
The Conditioner has Vitamin E & K and coconut oil to thicken hair and moisturize.
Every full size bottled purchased provides a month of clean water through Splash. They have a code on the bottle that you can look up to see where the water is going.
They are color safe, sulfate free, paraben free, and contain shea butter.
The coconut scent is amazing!
See, so many great things!
However, this shampoo and conditioner left my hair a greasy mess! It was so bad that my boyfriend even noticed. He never notices much about my hair lol. His exact quote was "I know you washed your hair this morning but it looks awful"
So disappointed.

Would I purchase? Unfortunately, no.

Clear Scalp & Hair Therapy Review

I'll say it again, I do not like drug store hair products. However, this one pleasantly surprised me. You can purchase this line of products at Target for $4.99 each. I use this shampoo as a clarifying shampoo because it works so great to get product buildup out of my hair. It is very nourishing with a fresh scent. It left my hair soft and shiny.

Would I purchase this again? I'm not sure, I think the sample will last me awhile since I only use it occasionally for product build up.

Hair Care Routine

I get asked a lot what my hair care routine is. To start with I have long blonde hair that is very fine. I do get highlights just to keep it the shade of blonde I like. As I get older it gets to be a darker blonde. I am not a huge fan of drugstore shampoos as I don't feel they work that great on my hair. Now that's not to say I don't use drugstore shampoo because I do like one particular shampoo that you will see later in this post. Please remember what works for me, may not work for you. I'm not a beautician, this is just what I have found that works best for me.
This is the shampoo and conditioner I use regularly when I wash my hair and the conditioner I use when my hair is feeling a bit dry in the summertime. I usually wash my hair every other day. I don't use the deep conditioner every time I shampoo because it is quiet heavy on my hair but it does work well.
This is the one drugstore shampoo and conditioner I do like. I use this primarily to get chlorine out of my hair or if I have a lot of product build up.
If I am having a day where hair spray is necessary these are the two I will use. The Marc Anthony Argan Oil Hairspray is my absolute favorite for when I have my hair up or when it's got a lot of static. The Paul Mitchell Hot Of The Press is what I use when I straighten my hair with a flat iron.
These are the products I use on a regular basis. I do not use them all together it just depends on what I am doing with my hair that day. The texture spray is my favorite it gives great lift to my hair. The blow out spray works great when I'm just drying my hair. The leave in conditioner is great. It doesn't weigh my hair down and gives it that extra boost of conditioner if I need it. The color shake is my absolute favorite hair care product. I can't find it many places anymore. It leaves my hair super shiny without it being greasy. It also protects my color when I'm outside a lot. The last product is my speed it up blow dry spray. This cuts drying time so it's much faster to dry my hair.

So that's what I use regularly. If you have any questions about products just let me know in the comments!

L'Oreal Total Repair 5 Review

I don't remember where I got this sample from but I did have a request to review this. It is the L'Oreal Total Repair 5 Shampoo, Conditioner and Balm. Now anyone that knows me well will agree that it is a never ending search for me to find a drugstore brand shampoo and conditioner that works in my hair so of course I was willing to give this a shot as well.
You can purchase the shampoo and conditioner for $7.98 each at Target and the balm is $5.99 at Target.
The Total Repair Shampoo and Conditioner claim it repairs 5 signs of damage 1. rebuild fibers 2. strengthen 3. vitality 4. silkiness 5. shine
The Balm is a rinse out reconstructing balm that claims to repair one year of damage in one use.
They all smelled really nice and the conditioner made my hair really silky, however I did not like how weighted down and heavy it made my hair.
Someday I will find a drugstore brand that works for me. Until then I will stay with my salon products.

Would I purchase a full size? No I would not. This might be better for someone with thicker hair.
