Covergirl Outlast All-Day Lipcolor Review

You can purchase the full-size of this lip product for $7.99 at Target.

There are 41 Colors and I tried out the Brazin Raisin color.

This lipstick is designed to last 24 hours. It claims to be food proof and transfer resistant all day. It also comes with a moisturizing top coat to keep lips moist and soft.

This lip stick far exceeded my expectations! It is very pigment with color that did last over 24 hours. I know this because I was to tired to fight with removing it and it lasted the entire next day. It is completely kiss/ transfer proof even after eating several meals, including salad. It was very creamy when applied and was not drying. It did not settle into fine lines either. The top coat is pretty shiny but if I wanted a matte look it works just fine with just the color since it didn't feel drying at all.

Would I purchase? Yes! Great lipstick for a great price.

Sephora Collection Rouge Shine Lipstick Review

You can purchase the full size of this lipstick for $12.50 at Sephora. There are 29 colors that are the High Shine Finish formula and 10 colors that are the Shimmer Finish formula. The glossy shades include clear pigments and carnauba was for a wet lip look. The shimmering and metallic formulas contain 3D shimmering particles and shea butter. It is also not tested on animals.

I received the color Love Spell, below is the swatch of the color.

This is a very creamy, beautiful nude pink color. It did not last long on the lips though.

Would I purchase? Probably not

Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick Review

You can purchase this Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick at Sephora for $21. There are 39 colors in 3 different finishes. The one I have is in the color Sexier in the Matte Finish.
This lipstick claims to be lasting- wear, one- swipe payoff and velvet- touch comfort.
It is free of Parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.
These lipsticks are infused with an antioxidant complex to leave you lips soft and they have a Creme Brûlée scent.
This lipstick smelled good enough to eat! The pigmentation was amazing! It really only takes one- swipe to have awesome coverage. It was not completely transfer proof at first but after a little bit it stayed put for about 6 hours and that was including eating and drinking. Now I want to get all the colors lol.

Would I purchase? Yes! My new favorite lipstick!

L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche La Lacque Lip Pen Review

We all know I love lip products so I was very excited to get this in a Target Beauty Box. You can buy these lip pens at Target for $8.99 and there are 4 colors. I got the color Lacque-y you.  These come in a matte and lacquer finishes. I got the lacquer finish.
This lip pen claims to be a highly pigmented lip color that glides on effortlessly in one stroke. There is also no sharpening required.
I will start with what I liked about this lip pen. I liked that it was a retractable crayon that you don't have to worry about sharpening. It had a light sweet scent that was nice. It was very easy to apply and smooth on my lips. However, I did not like how messy it was, it just slips all over the place, including onto my teeth. It was definitely not even a little transfer proof and wore off very quickly. I found that on me the color was very streaky and patchy even though it applied so easily.

Would I purchase? No

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick Review

I received this lipstick in my May Sephora Play box. I have heard a ton about this lipstick on social media so I am really excited to try it out. I got the color Kimchi. You can purchase a full size lipstick at Sephora for $26. There are 40 colors I believe.
This lipstick is a high- pigment lipstick that delivers intense hydration using 12 edible oils. Bite Beauty uses all food grade ingredients that are anti-oxidant rich and made in small batches. It is also free of sulfates, parabens and phthalates.
This lipstick was the perfect pink for spring and summer time. I found that while it wasn't completely kiss proof it did not have much transfer. It lasted for about 4 hours and that was after eating and drinking as well. I really like that it wore off my lips somewhat like a stain. Overall, I really like this lipstick!

Would I purchase? Yes! I can't wait to get a couple more shades!

Cover Girl Lipstick Review

I received this lipstick in a Target Beauty Box.
You can purchase this for $5.99 at Target. I got the color 405 Temptress Rose. There are 36 colors in the line I believe. There are 4 color families for these lipsticks. They are smooth nudes, rich reds, yummy plums and luscious pinks.
This lipstick is infused with Shea Butter.
I really like the pink packaging! So Cute!!
This lipstick is a really pretty bright pink that looks great for summer. It was very pigmented and smooth on the lips. It was definitely not kiss proof and there was a lot of transfer. I found I was reapplying every single time I got a drink or ate anything.

Would I purchase? No. There are other lipsticks I like better.

Hikari Lipstick Review

I received this lipstick in one of my beauty subscriptions. You can purchase these lipsticks on Hikari for $13. The website says they are long lasting, vivid color lipsticks.
I got the color Cabernet. I think it is a really pretty berry color but as you can see from the swatch it is very splotchy and not a good color pigment. It really pulled my lips when I put it on and the color did not last long at all.

Would I purchase? No, I have better lipsticks I could buy for the same price.

Pacifica Lipstick Review

I believe I received this lipstick in a target beauty box, but I don't remember. I really need to start keeping track of that lol.
You can buy Pacifica lipsticks at Target for $10. Not a bad price for a really nice lipstick. This is the Power of Love in the color Nudie Red. It was a really nice natural color on me and lasted quiet awhile. I really like the thin container as well.

Would I purchase again? Yes, I would like to try out some other colors. The problem is that my target is always out when I go there!

Make Up Forever Lipstick Review

I got this little sample in an Ipsy bag and I sure am happy about it.
This is the Make Up Forever Rouge Artist Natural Lipstick. You can buy it for $20 at Sephora and there are 20 colors in the line. I have the color N9 Copper Pink and it is a Satin finish.
These lipsticks are meant to just leave a translucent wash of color. They also leave your lips hydrated for 8 hours after use.
I absolutely LOVE this lipstick. I have already purchased a full size so I can keep one in my purse and one in my vanity.
Not only was this super soft on my lips and very hydrating, the color is absolutely beautiful.

Would I repurchase? Yes, I already have!

I have no idea where I picked up this lipstick at. I sure am glad I got it though!
A little bit about the Meet Matt(e) Hughes liquid lipstick by The Balm. It is $17 at Kohls. It is long wearing with a matte finish, vanilla mint flavor, highly pigmented color, has a doe foot applicator and is paraben free.
I had the color Committed which is a beautiful pink nude color. There are 8 colors available at Kohls.
I found it to be very long lasting. The smell is so yummy! It tastes good too ;-)

Would I purchase a full size? Yes, I can't wait to get more colors!

Sephora Lip Products

For my birthday awhile back I got a bunch of Sephora lip products. My best friend knows how much I love lip products that last a long time and she really wanted me to try these.
I got 3 different kinds. I will post pictures of the swatches of each color.
The first on I tried out was the Sephora Oil Infusion in the color 09 Iced Coffee.

It is a beautiful color and makes my lips super soft. It doesn't last very long though. Its still worth it though. I plan on buying a couple other colors. These are $14 at Sephora and there are 9 colors available.

The second type I tried were the Cream Lip Stains.

I got the colors (top to bottom) 06 Pink Souffle, 12 African Violet, 13 Marvelous Mauve. I am in love with these stains! All beautiful colors and last a long time without drying out my lips. They are $14 at Sephora and there are 14 colors and I plan on buying quiet a few more colors!

The last ones I tried I already had one of and I love it. It is one of my favorite lipsticks for fall and winter. These are the Rouge Infusion.

I like these so much that I have doubles on 3 of the colors! I have the colors (from top to bottom) 03 Pink Essence, 05 Fuchsia Concentrate (My favorite), 08 Tangerine Ink, 10 Red Essence, 19 The Neutrals Peony. They are on sale at Sephora for $7 as I believe they are going to be discontinued :( good thing I have 2 of the fuchsia concentrate! I do have to admit that I think the cream lip stains last a little bit longer than these do, so thats a bonus!

I hope you enjoyed seeing my Sephora lip collection. Do you have a favorite Sephora Lip Product? Let me know so I can try it!

disclaimer* I either purchased these or received them as gifts, all opinions are my own.

Dollar Store Lip Product Review

This is the final blog in the Dollar Store series. I posted everything I got back on Feb 17th. There are also two blog post previous to this one of the other items I got in the Dollar Store Haul. This blog is about the 3 lip products I purchased. All of these were purchased for $1 each at the Dollar Tree. I will start with the top of the picture and work my way down.

1. Elf Lip Balm Tint
I got the color Grapefruit. It says it gives a flush of color for a natural look and that it is infused with coconut, grape, shea butter and rice wax to condition lips. I really like this product. I found it gave just the right amount of color for a really natural flush of color. It lasted for about 4 hours with eating and drinking before I had to reapply.

2. L'Oreal Hip Color Presso
I got the color 380 Fashionista. It claims a high intensity pigment. I found this really messy. the colors squeeze out their own separate sides. I found it hard to get an even amount of both without it making a mess. It was a very light color that did not last at all

3. LA Colors Lip Color
I picked up the color Coral Sheen. It claims long lasting color and moisturizes with Vitamin E and Aloe Vera.  It was very silky and glided on very smoothly. It was a great long lasting coral color that is going to be great for spring and summer.

If you would like to know any more about any of these products please let me know. Did you like the haul with the mini reviews? Would you like to see more of them? Let me know!

CoverGirl Star Wars Lipstick Review

I am obsessed with lip products. My boyfriend and best friend would back that statement up.
I received this limited edition lipstick in a beauty box. I got the color Red number 30.
I don't normally wear reds but this was a beautiful berry color.
I had high hopes for it. It has shae butter for long lasting color. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. While the color is beautiful it had a gritty feel to it and was not long lasting at all. I tried it both with and without lip primer and it just would not stay on. It was pretty frustrating.
The price is also pretty expensive at, at least $7. For a drug store lipstick, to me that is expensive.
Would I repurchase? No, I feel that I could use my money on a better lipstick.
