GlamGlow Flashed Brightening Treatment Review

I received this sample in my RachhLoves Spring Favorites by Topbox. I have always heard great things about GlamGlow Products but have not had a chance to try them out until now.
You can purchase the full size product at Sephora for $22-$69 depending on the size you choose, so it can be a little pricey.
This is a brightening treatment for radiant, youthful looking skin. It is good for dry, combination, oily and normal skin. It claims to be the solution for dark spots, uneven skin tones, dullness, and uneven texture. Its multi- brightening complex helps to create the brightest, lightest, and most luminous skin possible. It is free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.
I like exfoliating products because my face always feels so nice afterwords, so I was really excited to try this mask and I really did like it.
It has a slight fruity scent with a gritty texture to exfoliate your skin. My face felt very soft and clean. I did find that my skin felt really dry afterwords.

Scent Bird October

I am sorry I did not get to post my scent bird from last month! I am so happy with this subscription service. I have received 3 perfumes so far. My favorite part about this subscription is that you get to pick out the perfume that you get each month. I have been trying to get some fall and winter scents in the list. So, if you have any suggestions for perfumes for me to try, please leave me a note!
I wasn't positive I would like this Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb but I am really happy I tried it out. I will probably be purchasing the full size of it eventually. It is just the right amount of spicy.
You can try out this subscription for $14.95 a month. If you click HERE you can get 25% off your first month with the code Scentbird25.

Thank you Scent Bird for providing my readers with a discount code!

I did not receive any compensation for this review, all opinions are my own.

Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream Review

You can purchase the full size of this BB Cream at Walmart for $6.94. There are 6 different shades.
This BB Cream claims to provide the perfect amount of coverage to even skin tone and hide blemishes. It is oil free, won't clog pores and is safe for sensitive skin. It also claims to last all day. It is designed for oily skin.
I was pleasantly surprised with this BB Cream. It was very creamy with nice pigmentation and great coverage. It was the perfect consistency as well, not very watery like some BB Creams I have tried. It lasted all day without breaking down at all and remained matte.

Jergens Natural Glow Review

I received this sample in a beauty box and I must admit I have tried this many times in the past and it just doesn't work for me but my friends rave about it so I figured it wouldn't hurt to try it again.
This is a daily moisturizer that delivers color to even out skin tone. It also contains a small amount of shimmer. It is formulated with natural botanicals and emollients. Maximum color reached in about 1 week of daily use.
I have the color Fair- Medium.
You can purchase a full size at Ulta for $9.99.
I have used this lotion for two weeks, every night. It smelled really  good, like a citrus scent and was very hydrating. I did not find it very greasy but I did wait for it to dry before I got dressed. Below is a picture of my leg on day one and on day 14. As you can see there was very little to no change at all.

Would I purchase? Probably not. I may try the next shade darker next summer but overall, I am just not very impressed.

SkinFix Ultra Rich Hand Cream Review

You can purchase this hand cream at Target for $9.99.
This hand cream claims to be clinically proven to treat dry, cracked skin on hands. It is dermatologist tested and recommended. This lotion is also made with natural ingredients, free of fragrance, steroids, soy, parabens and phthalates. It also claims that the dryness is instantly relieved and it provides lasting moisture and protection.
I really like this brand and have had the opportunity to try out many of the products so I was very excited to try this.
This hand cream is very thick but very rich and creamy. It was not very greasy and the little bit there was absorbed quickly. It was hydrating immediately and when I apply it at bedtime my hand stay moisturized the entire next day, no matter how many times I wash my hands.

Would I purchase? Yes, this will be perfect during the dry winter months.

Origins Face Masks and Maskimizer Reviews

I was really excited when I got this sample in a Sephora Play box awhile ago. I love trying different face masks and the new Maskimizer really interests me.

You can purchase the Maskimizer at Sephora for $22 for the full size. This is a primer to prep your skin for the mask you plan on using. It improves the spreadability and rinseability of face masks while hydrating, soothing and boosting skins radiance immediately. It is good for any type of mask with the exception of peel off masks. It is free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.
To try this primer out I used it with both masks by applying it to half of my face before applying the mask. It had no scent and is very watery. It did absorb into the skin fairly quickly and was not sticky at all.

You can purchase the Clear Improvement Mask full-size at Sephora for $4-$26 depending on the size that you purchase. This mask is good for all skin types. It is a charcoal mask that clears pores. It claims to be the solution for dryness, pores, dullness, and uneven texture. This mask also claims to be the number one selling mask in America. It is free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.
This mask was a really pretty grey color with a very light scent. My face got very tight while the mask was drying but it did wash off very easily.  After using this mask my pores were less noticeable,  it got rid of all redness and my face was very smooth. The side with the primer looked and felt better than the side without the primer.

You can purchase the Drink Up Intensive Mask full size at Sephora for $4-$26 depending on the size. This is an overnight mask designed to quench skin's thirst. It is best for dry skin. Japanese seaweed repairs skin's barrier to prevent future dehydration and signs of premature aging. To apply you pat onto clean, dry skin and tissue off the excess and then just go to sleep. It is free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.
This mask has a weird tropical scent that I couldn't put my finger on to describe. It was very creamy and also very greasy. I left it on over night but I did have to pat it with a towel before bed because it just didn't soak into my skin at all and I did not want to wake up covered in dog fur. The next day my face felt very soft and hydrated. The side with the primer did feel softer and more hydrated.

Overall, I was pretty happy with both face masks but was really happy with the Maskimizer. I am looking forward to trying that out with additional masks.

Ouai Wave Spray Review

You can purchase the full size of this product at Sephora for $26.00.
This spray claims to be a weightless texture mist. It claims to be feather- light to give your hair natural wave and body without being crunchy.
It is paraben and phthalates free. It is scented with Ouai No. 2 fragrance.
To use this spray, shake the bottle and than mist over dry or damp hair. Work it in from roots to tips to get beautiful texture and wave. Reapply throughout the day to add additional volume.
I never seem to have good luck with wave spray. This one was no different. It did have a nice fresh scent, but that was the only thing I found that I liked with this product. It made my hair super greasy and flat. It did absolutely nothing for my hair.

Would I purchase? No

Sephora Collection Contour Eye Pencil 12hr Wear Waterproof Review

I received this eye pencil in a previous Sephora Play box but I thought I would wait to fall to try it out as it reminded me more of a fall color. You can purchase the full size at Sephora for $8.
There are 9 colors in the glitter finish, 4 in the matte finish and 12 in the shimmer finish. I received the color Flirting Game in the shimmer finish. Which is a beautiful taupe color.
These are creamy, easy to apply pencils with long lasting, 12 hour water proof formulations. They are free of sulfates, parabens, and phthalates and not tested on animals.
I really liked this eye pencil. It was a beautiful color for my fair skin. It is very pigmented and very creamy. It glided on very easily. It lasted well past the 12 hours.

Would I purchase? Yes! I plan on getting several more colors.

Nügg Hydrating Face Mask Review

I used a different Nügg mask back in May for a Mask Monday blog post. I purchased just a single pod of this hydrating mask because I really liked this brand and I was able to get a couple uses out of a pod. You can get these at Target for $3.29 for an individual mask.
This mask contains a blend of natural oils and extracts to hydrate and soften the skin. Camellia Seed Oil, Spirulina Extract, and Aloe Juice hydrate and replenish dry, dehydrated skin.
It is free of fragrance, synthetic colors, petrochemicals, sulfates, and parabens.
To use- apply to clean, dry skin, leave on for 5-10 minuets, rinse off
This mask has a gel type consistency. It was very creamy and did not have a noticeable scent. However, my face felt sticky and had a greasy film after use and felt a little dried out. It also caused me to break out.

Would I purchase? No

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day 5-in-1 Styling Treatment Review

You can purchase the full size of this product at Sephora for $27.00.
This is a styling treatment that provides volume, smoothness, conditioning, strength and polish in one step. It also provides heat production, UV protection and static control. It is also free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, oil and silicone. It claims instant results that improve hair over time.
To use, evenly distribute the treatment on damp hair from roots to ends, comb through and style as usual. It also says for best results you should blow dry your hair.
I really had good results with this product. It is a lotion consistency that did not leave my hair sticky or crunchy. It lived up to everything it claimed, especially with volume. I had great volume that not only lasted the whole day but it lasted the second day as well.

Would I purchase? Yes! I really have good luck with this brand.

L'oreal Voluminous Feline Mascara Review

I always enjoy trying out new mascara so I was really excited to get this in my Rachh Loves Fall Favorites box. You can purchase this mascara at Target for $7.99 and it comes in 7 colors. I have the color Blackest Black.
This mascara claims to have a brush that captures each lash to give instant volume and fullness with an ultra- glossy black formula. It is ophthalmologist and allergy tested and safe for sensitive eyes.
This mascara was really decent. My lashes were very thick and also longer. I had no smudging or flaking.

First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser Review

You can purchase the full size of this face cleanser at Sephora for $30.00.
I was really excited to get this in my Sephora Play box. I have heard a lot of good things about this brand and just have not had a chance to try any of them yet.
This is a fragrance free, gentle cleanser that removes dirt, and makeup to leave skin soft and supple. It is a good solution for dryness and redness. It has a whipped texture that transforms into a cream when blended with water. It is free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. It is also allergy- tested, free of artificial fragrance and colors and safe for all skin types.
This was a nice face wash. I used it with with Clarisonic and was really pleased with the results. It is a very creamy face wash that was just a typical soap scent. My face felt very clean and hydrated and not dried out like some face wash can leave your skin.

Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme Review

You can purchase the full size of this product for $28 at Sephora.
I received this in my September Ipsy Bag. I think out of all the products I have received from Ipsy bags in the years I have been getting it, this is by far my most favorite product to try out.
This is a serum that is suppose to make your lips look plumper.
You apply this lip product to clean, dry lips and wait one minuet before apply lip color. It is to be used night and day along with your normal routine.
This lip product has a fruity scent that didn't really last long once you put it on. There was a tingly, burning sensation but it wasn't painful or anything. My lips were definitely at least 2x plumper and were very moisturized. The only problem I had was that it did not last for very long. Overall, I am very happy with this product.

Would I purchase? Yes

Épicé Hydrating Facial Mask Review

I received this sample in an Ipsy bag awhile back. I had never heard of this brand before getting this sample. You can purchase the full size for $35 on their website. So it is a little bit more pricey than the usual face masks I use.
This mask uses Kaolin Clay to absorb oil, debris and dead cells without stripping the skin of natural moisture. It also uses antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, and moisturizers.
To use- moisten your face with warm water, apply to entire face but avoid the eye area, leave on for 15-20 minuets, wash off. Use once or twice a week for maximum benefits.
I really enjoyed this mask and I am glad I had more than one use out of it. It is a thinner consistency and it is green which is fun! It had a nice fruity scent and was very refreshing. My face felt very soft and very hydrated after using this.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel Review

You can purchase the full size of this brow gel at Sephora for $22.
I was very excited to get this in my Sephora Play. I have always wanted to try the Anastasia products but I am just to cheap to buy them.
The clear gel claims to set, define and hold brows in place all day. It also conditions hair with a chamomile formula.
To use apply this gel after using a pencil brow product or a brow powder and apply in short upward strokes in the direction the hair grows.
This gel was so nice! It stayed put all day and it held my brows where I put them. I didn't notice any weird flaking that I get with some brow gels so that was really nice.

Would I purchase? Yes

Rimmel London Provocalips 16 Hour Kiss Proof Lip Colour Review

You can purchase this liquid lipstick at Ulta for $6.99. There are 10 shades in the line.
This lipstick claims to lock color on lips for 16 hours. It is lightweight and flexible.
There are two steps to this lipstick. You apply the color first and than apply the clear shine coat second.
I really liked this lipstick and the color. The only complaint I had was that it only lasted 6 hours instead of the 16 hours it claims to last. I found it very easy to apply. The color dried pretty quickly and the clear coat is like a gel that overall gives you a beautiful satin finish. It was very smooth on my lips, it didn't make my lips feel very dry at all and there was no flaking. It was definitely kiss proof and transfer proof. Even though it only lasted 6 hours it did not wear off patchy. As it wore off it left my lips slightly stained.

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara Review

I was so excited to get this in a Sephora Play Box. I love Urban Decay and have wanted to try this mascara. You can purchase the full size at Sephora for $22.
This is a lengthening and volumizing mascara that coats eyelashes with triple-black pigment and a buildable, creamy formula. It is also paraben free.
This mascara is really nice! I love getting sample size mascara that I actually use up before they dry out. This mascara made my lashes very thick and voluminous. It lasted all day with no smudging or flaking. Two thumbs up from me!

Skyn Iceland The Antidote Cooling Daily Lotion Review

You can purchase the full size of this lotion for $45 at Ulta, so it is a bit pricey.
This lotion claims to be a lightweight hydration lotion for stressed skin. It has a cooling burst to decongest, detoxify and stabilize skin.
It is free of parabens, petroleum, mineral oil, sulfates and phthalates. It is vegan and cruelty free. It has also been dermatologically tested for sensitive skin.
I started out really liking this lotion. It was really refreshing with a cooling, tingling sensation. It did have a strong peppermint scent that lasted a really long time but it was a pleasant scent. My skin was very hydrated and soft and it got rid of all the redness on my face. That was what I liked about it. What I didn't like was that it made me break out ALL OVER my face. No one likes a breakout!

Would I purchase? If it did not break me out I would repurchase

Miss Spa Tone Hydrogel Facial Mask Review

I picked this mask up for sale at Ulta for $3.99 and I do not believe that they still sell this particular mask. Its original price was $7.99.
This face mask claims to help skin appear more sculpted and contains Vitamin C and plant extracts. The hydrogel is designed to target loss of skin firmness for a fresher, youthful appearance. It is sulfate, paraben, fragrance, and artificial dye free. Also, it is not tested on animals.
This mask is a 2 piece mask. One piece for the top half of your face and one half for the bottom half of your face. You leave this mask on for 30 minuets on a clean dry face.
Out of all the sheet masks I have tried over the course of this year year, I have determined that hydrogel masks are my favorite.
This mask however, was the least saturated mask I have ever used. It was in two pieces which is ok but not my favorite to apply. It was fragrance free which was nice. After the 30 minuets on my face the mask was almost completely dry, with nothing left on my skin to massage in. My face felt firmer and looked brighter.

Would I repurchase? Yes, but only if I find it on sale again
