Nivea Men Creme Review

My boyfriend received this in a recent Men's Target Beauty Box. You can purchase this at Target for $5.49.
This is a non greasy, fast absorbing, multi- purpose moisturizing creme made especially for men. You can use it anywhere on your body, hands, or face. It claims to reduce dryness and replenish hydration.
This creme had a typical Nivea cologne scent which was nice. It was very greasy and my boyfriend said it did nothing for his skin at all.

Laneige Water Bank Serum Review

You can purchase the full size of this serum at Target for $35.00.
This serum claims skin will be smoother, more hydrated and a healthier looking complexion with a long lasting moisture of 24 hours.
It is non- comedogenic tested and good for dry skin.
It is recommended to use twice a day.
I only used this serum once a day because I found that using it twice a day made my skin feel to greasy. It had a light floral scent and it did soak into my skin relatively fast. My face felt moisturized all day and it did not break me out or clog my pores.

Derma e Firming DMAE Moisturizer Review

You can purchase the full size of this moisturizer at Target for $20.
This moisturizer claims to visibly firm, lift and smooth skin.  It uses DMAE, jojoba oil, and vitamins A and E to support healthy elasticity. If you have sensitive skin you, may want to test it on a patch of skin before you apply to your face as it can make certain skin types have a reaction.
It is 100% vegan, cruelty, paraben, sulfate, mineral oil, lanolin, gluten, and GMO Free.
This moisturizer does have a light scent.
I can not give a very good review for this moisturizer. It had almost a soap scent to it but was very creamy which was nice. It was very greasy on my face and it felt sticky like it never really settled into my skin. But that worked out for the best because I ended up having to wash it off. I turned really red and started itchy very badly. So as far as how well it worked? I really don't have an answer since I had to wash it off pretty soon after I applied it.

Exuviance Intensive Eye Treatment Masque Review

I received this sample with an order I placed on Ulta's website. You can purchase a full size at Ulta for $48.00 and it comes with 12 sets of eye pads.
These eye pads are designed to firm delicate eye areas and diminish appearance of crow's feet. The Lactobionic Acid hydrates while it stimulates cell renewal and supports the skin's matrix.
These are dermatologist, ophthalmologist, and allergy tested. It is fragrance free and safe for contact lens wearers.
To use these eye pads you place them under the eye on clean skin and leave them on for 10 minuets. After you take them off, massage in the excess solution.
There was a light fresh scent to these eye pads. They were just the right amount of wetness, not drippy or anything like that. I found that they really tightened my eye area and also brightened the under eye area, making my dark circles less noticeable. The only thing I did not see a change in was the appearance of crows feet.

Burt's Bees Cleansing Oil Review

I have really been enjoying cleansing oils lately so when I received this in a Target Beauty Box I was anxious to give it a try.

It is formulated with a blend of natural moisturizers including Coconut and Argan Oils and antioxidants to keep your skin nourished. It is 100% natural and created with dry skin in mind. it is dermatologist tested and free of parabens, pathlates, petroleum, or SLS and is not tested on animals.
To use the cleansing oil you put some in dry hands and apply to a dry face and then wet your hands and manage onto face. Rinse and pat face dry.
I found this cleansing oil to have a medicinal smell but it wasn't terrible. My face felt very clean, soft and hydrated. It did not leave any oily residue either.
Overall, I felt it worked just as it advertised.

L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche La Lacque Lip Pen Review

We all know I love lip products so I was very excited to get this in a Target Beauty Box. You can buy these lip pens at Target for $8.99 and there are 4 colors. I got the color Lacque-y you.  These come in a matte and lacquer finishes. I got the lacquer finish.
This lip pen claims to be a highly pigmented lip color that glides on effortlessly in one stroke. There is also no sharpening required.
I will start with what I liked about this lip pen. I liked that it was a retractable crayon that you don't have to worry about sharpening. It had a light sweet scent that was nice. It was very easy to apply and smooth on my lips. However, I did not like how messy it was, it just slips all over the place, including onto my teeth. It was definitely not even a little transfer proof and wore off very quickly. I found that on me the color was very streaky and patchy even though it applied so easily.

Laneige Water Bank Moisture Cream Review

You can purchase the full size of this moisturizer at Target for $32.
This Moisturizer claims to strengthen and prolong skins moisture all day long.
It uses Optimal Mineral Water to restore and retain moisture along with Mango Butter Extract to repair skins natural barrier and helps prevent moisture loss.
This is richly textured and absorbed immediately.
I found this cream to be a nice medium, creamy consistency. It had a nice floral scent that was not to overpowering. It was a little bit greasy when I first applied it but it absorbed quickly.
Overall, my face felt very hydrated the whole next day until I applied it again. It did not clog my pores or break me out.

Would I repurchase? Yes

Montagne Jeunesse Manuka Honey Peel- Off Mask

I decided to take a short break from sheet masks to try out this peel- off mask.
You can purchase this mask at Ulta for $1.99 so its a very reasonable price.
This mask claims to help purify and remove dead cells. It contains a fragrant jasmine scent and it paraben free and it does not test on animals.
It is also good for all skin types.
I did not think this mask had a jasmine scent at all. All that I smelled was honey and the scent stayed on my skin for hours.
To use you apply to clean skin, and leave it on 20-25 minuets and then peel it off.
This mask was just like the consistency of honey and very sticky. My face did seem brighter and it was very soft after using this.

Would I purchase? Yes, even though I smelled like honey for quiet awhile.

Not Your Mothers Plump For Joy Thickening Hair Lifter Review

I have really grown to enjoy the Not Your Mother's products. I find that they do not weigh my fine hair down. I liked the fact that this thickening hair lifter if formulated specifically for fine, thin hair.
You can purchase this at Ulta for $5.99.
This formula claims to thicken and strengthen your hair. It will also add body and shine.
To use this product spray into palm, rub hands together and scrunch into hair from ends to roots. It can be used on damp or dry hair.
This product really impressed me, like all of the Not Your Mother's brand products continue to do. I used it on damp hair and than styled my hair as I normally would. It has a slight fruity smell but nothing overwhelming. It is a gel like consistency but it wasn't sticky or anything. My hair definitely felt thicker and looked really nice. It left my hair soft and manageable and not crunchy as some gels leave your hair.

Would I purchase? Yes!

Pacifica Super Hydrating Hand Cream Review

I must admit that I only bought this lotion because it smells amazing! I got the scent I got is Indian Coconut Nectar. There are several different hand cream scents though.

This hand cream uses shea butter, coconut water, sweet iris and vitamin E. It is paraben, petroleum, SLS, sulfate, and phthalates free. It is also 100% vegan and cruelty free.
This lotion smells amazing! It smells just like you would expect a coconut nectar to smell. It was a little greasy when I first put it on and a little bit goes a long way, but the greasiness absorbed quickly.
The scent stayed on my skin all day, even with washing my hands throughout the day and my skin stayed moisturized for about 12 hours before I reapplied the lotion.
I was very impressed with this lotion!

Would I purchase? Yes! I can't wait to get some other scents.

Shampyou Shampoo and Serum Review

I was recently wandering around Ulta and found this shampoo and thought it looked interesting and wanted to give it a try. You purchase the shampoo base and two serums, they also have a conditioner but it was sold out at my Ulta.
The shampoo base was $10 and there were 4 options to choose from. I purchased the Mimosa + Jasmine. There were 8 Serums I could choose from for $3.50 a piece. I chose Turn Up the Volume SuperSerum and High Definition Blonde SuperSerum.
The conditioner was also $10 and there was only 1 option for that.
The shampoo I got was the Nourish and Protect with the Mimosa + Jasmine scent. It claims to be packed with silk amino acids, vitamins and natural essential oils. The essential oils it contains are Jasmine, Ylang Ylang, Mimosa, and Orange. The natural silk amino acids penetrate hair cuticles forming a protective protein shield to lock in moisture and prevent split ends. It also has Vitamins B5 and E and is paraben free.
To use it you snap the caps off the serums and pour them into the bottle of shampoo base, replace the cap and shake for 30 seconds.
The shampoo base smells really good. It is a fresh, sweet, jasmine smell. The smell did not really change after putting in the serums.
The Turn Up The Volume SuperSerum claims to be a thickening, body- boost and add volume to fine hair. It contains wheat amino acid, oat protein and grape seed oil. It penetrates every hair fiber to nourish and moisturize from within. This did not have any scent.
The High Definition Blonde SuperSerum uses lemon citrus and natural chamomile to nourish, brighten and illuminate blonde shades. It enhances color radiance and shine and works for natural, colored or highlighted hair. It had a light fresh scent that was very similar to the shampoo base.
I made a mistake when I added the serum and added only one and shook the bottle and had a really messy time getting the second one in. Make sure you add both serums and then shake! The scent did not change after adding both serums either.

I LOVE this shampoo! The scent is wonderful and stays in my hair quiet awhile. I did notice more volume after a couple of washes but what really impressed me was the blonde serum. Within one wash my blonde was brighter, within a couple washes it was even more noticeably brighter. My hair just looks cleaner than with other shampoo. It left my hair tangle free and frizz free and just feeling clean!

Would I repurchase? Yes! As soon as I run out I will be buying this again.

It is vegan, sulfate free, cruelty free, paraben free, PEG free, petroleum free, phthalate free, silicone free, gluten free, synthetic fragrance free, 100% biodegradable and it will not clog your pores.
This day cream has a thicker formula and a pleasant citrus scent. I found that it was not greasy at all and that my makeup sat beautifully on it, with or without a primer. My face stayed hydrated all day as well.

I really liked the nice fresh scent of this mask. However, I had to fight for it to stay on my face especially with how wet it was.  It left my skin extremely hydrated and it was very soothing.

Hanalei Lip Treatment Review

I recently received this lip treatment in an Ipsy Bag. I was unsure what my thoughts on it were as I had never heard of this brand before.
You can purchase the full size of this product on the Hanalei Website for $25.
This lip treatment uses kukui oil, agave and grape seed oil, and shea butter. It is also paraben and cruelty free. For best results it is to be used after lip scrub.
This was a really nice lip treatment. It is thick like vaseline. It smells like cookies and if you lick your lips at all it has a sweet taste. My lips stayed moisturized, soft and smooth for a full 24 hours after using this.

Would I repurchase? Possibly, I wish it was sold in stores near me instead of just on their website.

Ahava Deadsea Water Mineral Hand Cream Review

You can purchase the full size of this hand cream at Ulta for $23.
This Dead Sea Water Mineral Hand Cream is designed to instantly soothe dry, chapped skin and restore moisture. It uses Aloe Vera to soothe and moisturize, Witch Hazel to soothe, refresh and revitalize skin, and Allantoin to heal cracked, dry skin and blemishes. It is also safe for sensitive skin.
I used this hand cream at bed time and did not like the light medicinal scent of it. It was a nice medium consistency and it was not greasy which was great. It was very moisturizing when I first applied it but it wore off very quickly.

Would I purchase? No, I would rather have a better smelling hand cream.

Bliss Foot Patrol Review

If you are anything like me, you also struggle with keeping your feet flip flop ready in the summer. I was very interested in this product, mostly because I have never really used an exfoliating foot cream before. You can purchase the full size at Kohls for $18.
This cream is an exfoliating and softening cream for your feet and contains peppermint and aloe leaf. It should soothe, soften and refresh your feet. It uses the peppermint and salicylic acid to soften your feet.
I wasn't sure what I expected when I got this lotion, I guess I was expecting it to feel gritty since it is an exfoliating cream but it just felt like any normal lotion. It had a great peppermint smell and made my feet feel so refreshed. It was very greasy when I first applied it but it eventually soaked into my skin. After one use my feet looked a lot more moisturized but after several uses my feet looked amazing!

Would I purchase? Yes, absolutely! This is perfect for flip flop weather!

Toppik Hair Fattener Review

I got this product a while back in my amazon luxury beauty box. I was very excited to try it since my hair is so thin.
You can purchase the full size of this product on Amazon for about $18. So not to expensive for a hair product.
This is a leave in treatment that is suppose to add volume, shine and thickness. It also contains Vitamin E and is safe for color treated hair.
You can put this product in damp or dry hair and than just style as usual.
I used this in damp hair. It did not have any real scent which was nice. However, I found that it did nothing for my hair and in fact left my hair looking greasy.

Would I purchase? No I would not

Laneige Face Mask Review

This Mask Monday is a mask I received a while back in a Target Beauty Box.
You can purchase a 5 count of these masks at Target for $24.
This is a hydrating and revitalizing mask that is infused with skin perfecting hydro ionized mineral water. The mask is designed to sooth and cool skin on contact. It is formulated with Biogen Technology that increases your skins natural moisture to prevent future moisture loss and maintain hydration.
To use, put on clean skin and leave on for 30 minuets.
When I first opened this mask I was surprised at how slimy it was. It was a two piece mask that is more of a gel than a typical thin sheet mask. It was not overly wet or drippy and was very refreshing. My face felt so soft and moisturized. I really liked this mask a lot!

Would I purchase? Yes, Absolutely!

Cera Ve Foaming Facial Cleanser Review

I received this facial cleanser in a Target Beauty Box awhile back. You can purchase the full size at Target for $11.59.
This cleanser claims to remove surface impurities, makeup, excess oil and dead skin cells without stripping face of vital lipids and it moisturizes deeply to restore and maintain skins protective barrier.
It is non-irritating, non-comedogenic and dermatologist recommended. It is good for all skin types and fragrance free.
My face felt very clean and hydrated after using this cleanser. It is nice that it didn't have a scent either. It foamed nicely without being a ton of bubbles. It also worked well with my clarisonic.

Lierac Mesolift Serum Review

I really enjoy face serums so I was very excited to try this one. You can purchase the full-size at the Dermstore for $60 so it is a little pricey.
This serum an Ultra vitamin enriched, radiance booster. It is designed to give you glowing, radiant, plump, toned skin.
It also contains a cocktail of 5 vitamins and 6 minerals. Also, blood red orange extract.
This serum did not have any scent. I really liked how it just immediately melted into my skin with no greasy residue and it left my skin very soft. The only problem I had with this serum is that it made me break out bad!

Would I repurchase? No, just because of the breakouts
